I don't know why the leaders of SPA do not speak clearly about what they are thinking about the course this movement should take. I am not in Nepal right now. Looking from outside, it feels like instead of leaders being in charge of the direction the movement is taking, it is the crowd that is deciding the agenda. Crowds are loud and clear about their intentions to establish a republic nation. What are the agenda of SPA? Is it really the republic as demanded in chants? Is it the consituent assembly? What is it?
Also, there are rumours, I will call them rumours as they have not been verified officially by the leaders, about forming a parallel government. There has to be a clearly worded statement from the leaders about this to the public.
People obviously don't trust the leaders, as shown by sit-in in front of the Girija Prasad Koirala's house during the consultation among SPA leaders about how to form an official reaction to the royal proclamation. And if the leaders also do not trust the public, there will be a crisis of trust, which is detrimental to the movement as well as to the future of Nepal itself.
